Calling all in the Ummah!!!!Let’s Support Islamic Education and Islamic Home education

I am most thankful to The One Who is The Most Deserving of thanks,Allah! For the last year or so I had been asking Allah to place me amongst those of His servants who are steadfast in making it possible for our children to attend Muslim schools where they would be able to learn without having to feel pressured to compromise their deen. This is very personal to me and has been for a very long time! I have been homeschooling my children for some years and I would like to send them to school but I cannot afford an islamic school. They only dream to go but I want to make that a reality for them and all Muslim children. Please help support our Muslim children and their desire to attend an Islamic school. There is great reward for removing their hardships by Allah. Check This out…
Abu Huraira (radiallahu anhu) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallaam) said:

مَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ مُؤْمِنٍ كُرْبَةٍ مِنْ كُرَبِ الدُّنْيَا

Whoever removes from a Believer a hardship from the hardships of this life (the dunya),

نَفَّسَ اللهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةٍ مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ القِيَامَة

Allah (God) will remove from him a hardship from the hardships of the Day of Judgment

وَ مَنْ يَسَّرَ عَلَى مُعْسَرٍ يَسَّرَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا والآخِرَة

And whoever makes a difficult affair easy, Allah will make things easy for him in this life and the Hereafter

سَهَّلَ اللهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الجَنَّ

Allah will make easy for him by way of it a path to Paradise

Secrets of Peaceful Success!

Many of us want success but are still trying to find the right formula. The formula exists but you have to do the work because without action it’s pointless.

Here are 4 steps to achieving peaceful success;

1. You must have a definite major purpose-this is knowing ultimately what you want to achieve.

2.Meditate- go to a quiet place where you can get into a peaceful relaxed state. This is a way to connect with your subconscious.

3. Visualize- Routinely become the person you desire to be. Imagine that you are their already and you are working from you achieved goal. Sounds impossible? Well it is actually but the more you do this the better your subconscious is at accepting the new you, inshaaAllah!

Ask yourself… What exactly would I be doing if I achieved my goal and how would I feel(of course we do not know but we may imagine the details even down to the smell of the atmosphere, who are your supporters, what will you be wearing etc. etc. etc.

4. Take Massive Action to get desired results or new yet exciting possibilities. Ask yourself… What can I do today with the skills I have already acquired?

“The secret of success is to recognize that we have to have a burning desire and willingness to succeed”(Go Rich Dad- http://billionairemastermindforum.lefora.com )

The 4 steps above, if done with prayer, perseverance, sincerity and consistency can bring you an abundance of success, all by the permission of God. Once you are clear about what you truly desire it becomes easier to focus on how to achieve it. The mind is triggered by your conscious thought followed by focus so that it will give the body clues to act on. Affirmations-positive statements that you say to yourself in order to feed your subconscious, are a great way to start! Remember to speak good about yourself and your abilities. The Creator is merciful and He promises to change the condition of His creation when they have changed it in themselves(in their hearts).

Try this: say “I am ready to change what is in my heart seeking Allah’s blessings. He(Allah) is sufficient for me and The Disposer of all my affairs”

“Verily, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves”(~Qur’an 13:11 )

With Peaceful Success

ARRRRRRG!!!!

Do feel like you want to just pull your hair out?
Are you feeling overwhelmed by work, school, kids, husband, wife, job, business etc…?
Do you want to grab that dark chocolate candy bar because you just feel so overwhelmed and the feeling is just making you hungry?
Do want to just pull the covers back over your head and sleep the day away?

Do feel revengeful because someone has wronged you and you cannot let it go?

These feelings and others similar to them are only your body undergoing stress. We react to stress by either avoiding or diffusing a situation(flight) or by behaving aggressively/violently(fight)!

According to Wikipedia.org it states that
“the fight response may be manifested in angry, argumentative behavior, and the flight response may be manifested through social withdrawal, substance abuse, and even television viewing.[5]
Males and females tend to deal with stressful situations differently. Males are more likely to respond to an emergency situation with aggression (fight), while females are more likely to flee (flight), turn to others for help, or attempt to defuse the situation – ‘tend and befriend’. During stressful times, a mother is especially likely to show protective responses toward her offspring and affiliate with others for shared social responses to threat”.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fight-or-flight_response)

[edit]

Stress is a part of life but it is a choice to allow it to negatively affect your life. similarly pain is a part of life but suffering is a choice. We have to learn to manage our stress so that it can release the tension that it causes on our central nervous system. Our central nervous system is the area of our body that receives unbalanced blood supply when we are stressed. The central nervous system prepares our bodies for response to stress, also known as, “fight or flight”. It oversees and controls the body’s overall reaction to stress.

According to research, the amount of stress one experiences depends on one’s perception of the situation and one’s ability to control it. When your body feels threatened by external stimuli it automatically reacts. It stays in this mode for some time until the body feels safe then it returns back to it’s normal state. When the body does not turn back to it’s normal state and this happens, very often, it becomes a threat to your health. Health issues that may arise as a result of the body being subjected to constant stress are frequent colds, constipation, chest pain, irritability, poor judgement, anxiety, oversleeping,etc…</p It is totally impossible to eliminate stress but it can, and should be managed to give your body the proper care it needs. When you manage stress you allow the other body systems to resume their functions, after being suspended while you were stressed.

No matter how severe you perceive your circumstance to be and how depressed or stressed you are, never give up on Allah! Remember Prophet Yaqub’s statement to his son’s on hearing what they had told him of his son Yusuf?

“He said: “I complain of my distress and grief to Allah Alone and I know from Allah what you do not know.”(12:86)

And remember what Allah says in Qur’an about those who are steadfast when afflicted with adversity!
Allah says …

“Be sure we will test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives, but give glad tidings to those who are steadfast, who say when afflicted with calamity: To God we belong and to him is our return. They are those on who (DESCEND) blessings from God and mercy and they are the ones that receive guidance. (2:155)

Some ways to manage stress, InshaaAllah(If God Wills)
1.Begin to take full responsibility for the decisions you make in your life. Stop pointing fingers.
2.Plan how you will work to remove your stress(dhikr, salah, meditation, exercise, yoga)
3.Transfer your worries into duas and take action on what you do have control over. Stop focusing your attention on things you have no influence or control over. Allah is in total control and He is Al Wakil(The Disposer of Affairs)
4.Put your trust in Allah
5.Guard your salaah
6.Wake up with gratitude after sleeping(say the dua that Prophet Muhammad said upon waking up)
7.End your days in the remembrance of Allah(reading/reciting Qur’an)

The Choice To Heal!

How do the stories of your past affect you? Be specific about how you feel when you remember the past. Internalize what you were responsible for. Forgive yourself.  Your past has no meaning or power on your present or future unless you are feeling those feelings from the past in the present. Allow the feeling to pass when it is triggered in the present so that it will not stick with you! You cannot erase what has happened but you can use the power of choice to heal from it.

What Is Your Passion?

What do you have a burning desire to do, and why? In other words, what is your passion and why do you feel so excited about it?Never mind the “HOW” just focus on the “WHAT” and then the “WHY”. Focusing on the how gives way to procrastination, self doubt, FEAR(fixed expectations about the result),perfection and eventually shut down. It is comparable to becoming paralyzed because you stay stuck in contemplation mode and never reach the stage of A.C.T.I.O.N.(acquired confidence to initiate opportunity now)

Take Action Now- Grab a piece of paper/journal and a pen/pencil! Begin by writing down what you really enjoy doing or have done in the past that makes you super duper excited and you don’t expect anything in return because you just feel good about the whole experience!  Take yourself to that experience or thought, mentally, for about 5 minutes. While you are there think of the people who are there with you, if any, what exactly is going on, what exactly are you doing, describe your feelings, describe the smell, note the location, note the weather, what are you wearing, and whatever else you want to add about the experience. …….ok 5 minutes is up now. Put your pens down and take 3 deep breaths(in through the nose and out the mouth). Ok, now read what you wrote! Is this amazing or what? All of what you wrote was deep down inside of you and probably has been for some time. I did this about two years ago and it not only felt great but it gave me validation of my passion to help women succeed in pursuing their goals. I was always a magnet for stories from women who have gone through some sort of distress in their lives but I never understood why I needed to hear their stories or why I felt so obliged to offer them an ear without judgement and if God willed, a helping hand!

Welcome to your passion! Enjoy the journey through it’s winding hills and beautiful pasture! It can get a little bumpy but it can also be fun, adventurous, and most of all rewarding!
